We’re a couple of friends who turned our love for summer, the sea, and local flavour into a passion project on wheels. Based in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, we handcraft everything we serve with care, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients from some of our favourite Nova Scotian farmers and producers. From our classic popsicles to our newest offerings, everything we make is inspired by the vibrant spirit of our coastal community.
As we head into our second summer, we’re so excited to keep growing. Alongside our signature popsicles, we’re adding slushies, including coffee slushies and matcha slushies, as well as a brand new coffee cart to bring even more fun and an opportunity to offer more to our community. We’re also introducing eco-friendly straws, because making thoughtful choices for our community and coastline matters to us.
You’ll spot us cruising around town and popping up at neighbourhood events, private bookings, and especially Halifax’s beloved farmers’ markets every weekend. We love bringing the Salty Joes experience to gatherings big and small, and being part of the local moments that make summer here so special.
At Salty Joes, doing good is just as important as tasting good. That’s why we donate a portion of our profits to ocean-centered charities working to protect and celebrate our maritime home.
Our popsicles, slushies, and coffee are more than just treats - they’re a tribute to the friends, farms, and waters that make Nova Scotia such a sweet place to call home.
